Just back from my one hour class. *Meh.*

Class was boring as usual, and I almost fell asleep during lecture today. =.=


A random lame joke just came across the boring class.

My lecturer was teaching us about homogenization in food industry, and he asked a question:

Weekend was spend mostly on HWB's activity. :)

Did nothing much except watching them running the whole programme and I feel handicap sitting near the corner.

How much I wish I could go back to the good old time, spending time and working on planning a camp with my fellow HWB siblings. *sob*

I'm already having Monday blues now. WTF.

Need to get up early morrow morning some more.

How much I wish I could have a Monday off. *In my dreams*

XD will be fillet-ing the catfish morrow in the lab.
Wish me best of luck, as I have never done that in my entire 22 years of living.

Pray for the fishes too! Hope they wont die in pain...

Just a short break from staring blankly on my Food Sensory report. *sobs*

Fishball making on monday was a success! *roar*

The texture of the fishball now is what we wanted!
*Jumps for joy, but hope my head won't get stuck in the meat lab*

Aiyee was the one cutting the fishball into half and the first to comment about the texture of the fishball is solid-er compare to the previous ones. Then Siahchen, the very brave one took half of the ball and popped into her mouth.

"这个可以! "
(This one is acceptable!)

Then the rest just can't wait to grab one after hearing her comment. XD
It was a scene I tell you. Seeing all the hands rushing and grabbing for the balls. *evil grin*

I would say the texture is hard and solid enough, just like the pork meat ball you had. But it taste fishy. I personally think it's acceptable, but no doubt it will taste better with other spices like black pepper and garlic.

Next step: Decide the flavour other than the succeeded black pepper and garlic. *showing the 1000 watt smile* :)

Hopefull the next session coming up on friday will turn out just fine! *finger crossed*

Aight, back to work.

p/s: The bloody Sensory report is killing me! what the fuck what the fuck.
Mingfoong is just pissed off with the report. >(

Finger is itching for blogging!

AFTER 5 months of hiatus, fingers were quite stiff though.

Somehow somewhat brain wasn't functioning at it's top performance to think proper for the homeworks. *Humph*

Been looking around for recipe and useful tips to enhance the quality of my fishball project.

Yeap, am working on the catfish-fish ball for my year 3 Food Product Development project. ^__________^

Normally the fishball you get in the market were made by surimi, mainly by some washed-fish fillet, and most of the fish fillet is not the premium ones, and might be blended together with some byproduct and god-knows-what together.

Catfish, also known as "Ikan Keli' locally, have quite a limited market in Malaysia. I have not tried eating Ikan keli honestly, therefore I have no idea how it taste it. >( But heard that the taste wasn't as appetizing compare to other fish. Should have tried cooing it one day. >) *grin*

Tried making the fishball with the help from the phD senior last week. ^_____^
p/s: The phD senior was superb helpful!

The taste of our fishball were acceptable but we still need improvement for the texture of the fishball though. Still scratching our head and trying to figure out a way to make a "springy" fishball.

Anyone have any idea please don't hesitate!
I need your help badly neh! *with the watery-puppy-eye*
