Have a really productive day yesterday~ ^^v
Went to work in the morning and head off to cheras straight after work~
Lead suggested to drop by Cheras's Queen's Pack to have a look, since there're some article bout great bargain there in the paper. ^^ Unfortunately, we have got no idea where the hell it is. Kinda google it and found out it was opposite the cheras carefour. But, where is cheras carefour? =.=
Manage to get a map and direction to go there, but we missed out one turning and we got kinda panic and started looking out for U-turn and tried to figure the way out. In the end, we went through the Chee Cheong Kai and Jlan Alor, and Jalan Chulan and also some other jalan jalan, which I never been before. :( Born here but know nuts bout the roads here. *sigh*
Was so happy when we finaly managed to figure our way out and reach Queen's Park safe and sound. (thanks to keh liang who have a very good sense in direction and wei lead's driving skill! ^^v) Looks new but there's quite empty. I like the concept of the place! It look more like a park than a shopping lot. Since there's not many shop, so it's quite easy to walk around without worrying bumping into some naughty toddlers or impatient auntie. Kinda walk around and we settled down for lunch~ Place were quite and food were ok, but the company was great!
All of us got something after walking around in the place, but some of the shop is not air-conditioned so it's kinda stuffy and hot. *boo* over all, the place will be a attraction only if it's more lively and more shops, other than the few famous shops like esprit. ^^
Planned a surprise for the Leow twins after that. Wish you're there la Suzz! It's so fun teasing the sotong and seeing cheekit kacau her with the you're-very-irritating look and some mean jokes and prank ! *sob* Sotong was very fed up and i think she feel kinda regret going out with us. *evil laugh* too bad lydia have some dancing practice and she couldn't make it. If not I think it's be even syiok teasing them. *more evil laugh*
Rush her home by using a lame excuse and we quickly pick up the briwnie we get for them for cake sense and called lydia by saying her blur sister left something in the car, so cheekit have to go back and pass it back to her.
While cheekit is pretending to blame the blur sotong, we surprise them by sending the cake and started singing them birthday song. ( yea yea, it's a belated one though*guilty*) Sotong looked so stoned!! ^^
Have fun chatting in her house and have some cam whore session too.
Happy Birthday to the Leow Sisters!!

Teacher' Day 07
Think this years' teacher's day celebration will be the one I'll remember for the rest of my life.
Teacher's day celebration before this is always boring + dull. Prolly because I'm always the one who sits in the hall and watching those repeated programs.
Lol.
While on the other hand, I'm the one who is sitting on those specials chair where the "teachers" used to sit. Having a teacher' life is really a un-planned thing this year.
Let's skip the part where the whoe school was sitting in hall waiting for the V.I.P. to arrive.
The ceremony is just dull as usual. Some malay dude just went up the stage and read out the letter for the teachers nationwide. So I guess that's what they do every year. Then, the students were asked to stand up to sing 2 songs. Lol. They're taught before hand, so no need to worry bout the blurry faces and mumbled lyrics. ^^ All my std 5 student were giving me that kinda weird look, and I'm feeling really out-of-place and was very kekoh. *playing fingers* After that, all the teachers were asked to sing along, name"kawi guru malaysia". OMFG. I know nuts bout the lyrics and the tempo, though we're all given a piece of paper with the lyrics printed and the song was played during recess a few days before the ceremony.
Well well, just pretend I;m singing but I was caught by my std 5 kids.
They boo-ed at me. Bloody hell. I screwed them up after that. I'm just a guru ganti and you expect me to sing this super "classic" song?
As it's teacher's day, and the school decided to give all the teachers a break by having a drawing competition to kill time. *brilliant idea* The teachers who in-charge for the week (i think) ordered food and also tong sui from the canteen adn we're all party-ing in the staff room during recess that day. ^^v A lucky draw was held and that's the time when everyone gets high. Prizes look very good, a few big boxes with fancy wrapper and some small little gift were to give out. Think this is the time where all the teachers get rewarded after orking hard for a year. Some of the parents even ordered cakes and sent it to the staff room. There' one super delicious cheesecake from SR was sent to the staff room. Hehe, I got myself a slice too and it taste superb!
Went into class(yea, you still need to go into clas incase someting happenduring the drawing competition). As most of the classroom have a computer in their class, the lansi std 6 classes started playing the songs in the computer and some of them blasted through out the whole recess. My class was pathetic as they don;t have any songs for them to blast other than the songs ( just two) in the media player itself. Sad isn't it?
Being the cool-hot-young teacher, I offered my mp3 player to them, as the class next door was being irritating as they're were playing their songs too loud. (Not to mention they always complain bout the class whenever I was inside, saying the class is making too much noise)
So in the end, we blasted the whole two periods and most of them were quite familiar with the songs I have in my mp3. Meaning the age gap between us is not very huge after all *nyahahahahahahahaha*
I can conclude that the kids nowadays listen to jay chou damn a lot. Especially the hottest song <<听妈妈的话(listen to what your mama says)>>. The whole class was singing together, as if we're having a mini karaoke session in the class. Hehe, me myself is feeling abit geli when I listened to them. Kinda touched. :P
Not only that, I found out that one of them is a ppure-jap-anime fans! She saved jap songs in her nano ipod. Yea, an ipod. Rich ass. Not only that, she watch anime too. Bleach, ouran high school, tsubasa chronicles, etc etc. I was stoned when I heard there're more bleach fans like me in their class. They too never expect me to know so much bout anime and got really hooked up with the anime storylines and theme songs! Guess this would be my best experience bout teaching(or "mamak" session?) with the kids! We're like normal friend, talking over stuff we all have in common, listen to punk rock and mandarin songs in a class.
By the end of the day, I received alot of red pens from my students, a towel, a few packets of tissue(weird huh?), a small set of chocolates from famous amos, a slice of cheesecake, and also a bouquet of purple orkid. Never expect to receive so many present from them. Some of them even drew me cards! Although is really simple and they just jotted a few lines to appreciate my effort in teaching them, I feel really really warm inside. I received one hand drawn card with two pikachu character although I only see the boy during co-co activities!
What a teacher needs is not those expensive gifts or fancy present and a super big bouquet of flowers. Just a simple card and a warm greeting is surely more than enough. ^^
